Abergavenny is proof that Wales can fit three personalities into one town. It's posh enough to have a world-famous food festival, rugged enough that half the population owns walking boots they'll definitely use "next weekend", and Welsh enough that nobody's entirely sure if they're popping into town for a coffee or ending up in the pub for six hours. Throw in a castle, the Sugar Loaf, and views that make your phone battery work overtime, and you've got a town that's impossible not to love.
